After 40 years of teaching and a passion for education it was a natural step to progress into retail specializing in educational toys. We opened our first store in Kensington Square, Durban North in September 2015 followed by our second store in La Lucia Mall in 2016. We now welcome our online store to the Mr Tickles family. We hope to help parents as their children progress through the various stages of development.

Play is important for every child’s social, emotional, physical, or cognitive well-being particularly in the early childhood years that are so crucial to the development in later years. Sadly busy family lifestyles allow for less quality parent-child interaction. Making time and participating in child-driven play is the best gift any parent can give their child. Relationships with children are nurtured and strengthened when parents play with their children.
